Hello Provost Cougars,

Provo City School District is hosting a Digital for Good Community Event with Dr. Richard Culatta on Thursday, October 5th at 7pm.

We are looking forward to a special presentation by Dr. Culatta for our 3rd-6th graders at Provost Elementary on October 4th at 8:45 am.

His presentation focuses on using technology as a powerful tool for good.

If you are interested but unable to attend the evening presentation, please feel free to attend the presentation for our students on Wednesday, October 4th.

Dr. Richard Culatta—CEO of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and the previous Director of the U. S. Department of Education’s Office of Educational Technology—is known for designing instruction approaches that are responsive to improving access and equity for families and students. Dr. Culatta flips the typical digital citizenship conversation from a negative list of “don’ts” in to a productive and positive conversation. He encourages family communication and prioritizing life goals that include the use of technology as a powerful tool for good.
