Lauri Driggs
I grew up in Tacoma, Washington. My husband Paul and I have five children, Daniel, who is married to Heather, David, who is married to Karin, and Benjamin, or as the students at Provost know him, Mr. Ben and Kathryn who is married to Kyle and Kelli who is married to Gavin. We have 14 grandchildren.
I love playing the violin. I remember when I was very young and couldn’t read words, but I really can’t remember when I didn’t know how to read music. I truly believe in the healing and saving power of music and I love teaching the students at Provost more about it. I am impressed at how hard the students at Provost work!
Aside from my love of music, I also have an impressive mug collection! And I love the beach and cooking for my family on Sundays.
I attended Brigham Young University. I have been in the education system for 30+ years. One of my favorite things about teaching is witnessing that “Aha!” moment when it all clicks for a student. I also love that I get to play and teach music all day long!
