Provost Elementary School

Provost is excited to welcome Audrey Jepsen to its kindergarten team. She will teach half-day kindergarten and Mrs. Raya Blackburn will continue to teach full-day kindergarten.

For the past 6 years, Mrs. Jepsen has taught 5th grade at Provost, but has always had a deep love for the very youngest of learners. She is absolutely thrilled to be able to help inspire Provost’s newest students to love learning. She believes that the foundations learned in Kindergarten are critical to future success and is beyond excited to be a part of that experience.

Mrs. Blackburn, previously known as Ms. Leavitt, has taught at Provost for the past 5 years. She is well-known for her ability to love every child and inspire them to keep trying. She firmly believes in the power that music has on children and utilizes it in her classroom, making it a welcome and fun place to be. When asked what she thought about Mrs. Jepsen joining the kindergarten team she said, “Audrey really loves kids. She is a very loving, caring people-person. It’s going to be fantastic!”

Provost is so grateful to have Mrs. Blackburn and Mrs. Jepsen as teachers. They help make the school a loving, fun and enjoyable place to be. Thank you! #keeplearningfun #provostcougarsarethebest
