Hey Provost, meet Mrs. Jerrilee Robinson. Mrs. Robinson is one of our new first grade teachers at Provost and we are so thankful to have her here!
We asked her a few questions to get to know her better.
Favorite food: shrimp.
Favorite activities: I love to exercise. I like to run, jog and take walks. I like to get together with family and friends. I love the ocean and visiting places by the ocean.
Where did you grow up? I grew up primarily in a small town in southeastern Idaho called Ririe. My dad, being a mechanical/design engineer, worked for BOEING. So we lived in Seattle, Washington, also Louisiana and Alabama. In all of these places he helped with the design and mechanical engineering of the rockets that went up into space. He continued to work in engineering in Idaho.
Why did you become a teacher? I love teaching children! I come from a family of teachers on both sides of my family, my dad’s side and my mom’s side, including my mom.
What is your favorite book? My favorite book is hard to narrow down. I love reading realistic fiction books the best.
We are so glad to have Mrs. Robinson as part of our Provost team!
