Return of the Anatomy Lesson

Hey Provost, our friends from the Anatomy Academy at BYU came to visit Mrs. Rogers’ 6th graders and shared a lesson with them about the Digestive System. Do you know what the digestive system is? The digestive system is the part of your body that allows you to eat and digest food and liquids. It includes your esophagus (the throat), your stomach and your two intestines, the small intestine and the large intestine. All of the food and drink that you eat goes to these places in your body and your body uses the ingredients from the food and drink to keep your body healthy and strong.

Remember to eat healthy foods every day so that your body can feel stronger every day!
