Hey Provost, our 6th graders got to spend the day at the Christa Mcauliffe Space Center in Pleasant Grove.

They spent half the day in the amazing planetarium, learning about the solar system. The rest of the day was spent in a very cool space ship, doing a simulated mission as teams. Class members had to work together to steer the ship, protect themselves, make important decisions about the value of alien life, and communicate clearly with each other. It got very tense on board the ships, and the pressure was on!

All teams survived and completed their missions, and had an absolute blast!
