Provost Elementary School

Hey Provost, Miss Holland’s 4th grade students learned a lesson about light and how it can be manipulated to create a rainbow of colors.

The class was divided into groups and each group was given a prism, which is a clear 3D piece of glass shaped into a pyramid. The prisms were used to catch a ray of light from the class windows and angle it towards the dark side of the room where the students could see the different colors that appeared against the walls and floor.

Good work Miss Holland’s class!
