NewsHey Provost, Ms. Scott’s 1st grade class learned about the value of single digits (1’s) and group digits (10’s). Each student received a worksheet and as a group received a specific number of colored connecting blocks. As a group, the students answered the questions on their worksheets by connecting the colored blocks together and figuring out how many blocks were grouped together, how many were singled, and the total number of blocks together.
Way to go Ms. Scott’s 1st graders!
