After School Club Sign Up Information
Parents of Provost Cougars,
We are so excited to announce our next semester of After School Clubs at Provost Elementary.
We are going to try something new this semester and do our signups digitally. On Wednesday, January 10th you will receive an email around 7:00 am with a link to a google form. This form will allow you to request registration for up to 4 students in our after school clubs. If you have more than 4 students at the school, you will need to fill out a separate form for those additional students. For each student you can indicate their 1st-5th choices of clubs. If you do not get into your first choice, we will automatically look at your second choice and then third choice and so on. Once submitted the form will be time stamped. We will add students into clubs according to the timestamp on the google form. You are not registered for a club until you receive an email saying that your student made it into that club. If you do not receive an email saying they are in that club then the club was full when you submitted your google form. There will be NO FEES for clubs this semester.
Due to the high demand of clubs, your student will only be registered for ONE club during sign ups. There will be a question on the form that will ask if you would like your student to be considered for a second club. If clubs have space we will then go back through the forms and register students for a second club. If this happens you will receive a phone call or email from us letting you know that they were registered successfully for a second club. You can also call the school on Thursday, Jan. 11th to ask what clubs are still open and request additional registration spots.
If your student gets into a club and then decides not to attend the club more than twice in a row, without a parent letting us know that they will be gone that day, they may be replaced by another student. If this happens we will call you first. Sickness and parent excused absences will ensure their spot is saved. That way we don’t waste the space on students who end up not wanting to be in clubs.
