Provost Elementary School

Dear Parents and Guardians of Provost Elementary Students,

I understand that there are times when you need to pick your child up early for school.  Please, try to make that pick-up time before the last 15 minutes of school.  Some of the reasons for this are:

  • That time of day the front office staff gets several phone calls from parents wanting to let their child know where to get picked up, who to leave with, etc
  • Many parents are waiting in the pick-up line at that time.
  • Unfortunately, some individuals try to pick up children early to avoid having to wait in line.  Once one person does this, it can then become a problem with more and more.

If there is an appointment after school that you must get to, we just ask that you come in a little earlier than that 15-minute window.  Please know that we are reasonable people and will accommodate and do what we can in the event of an emergency.

Thank you for your understanding!
