Provost Elementary School

Hello Provost School Community,

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and express my excitement about joining the Provost community. I am thrilled to be a part of such a dedicated and passionate group of educators and students.

As the new principal, I am truly honored to have the opportunity to lead this exceptional school. I recently came from Salt Lake City School District where I was the Assistant Principal at Edison Elementary. Prior to Edison Elementary, I worked in Provo City School District for several years at Provo Peaks Elementary as a teacher and later the Facilitator.

My goal is to foster an environment where each student is supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Together, we can provide the best educational experience for our students and help them have success now and in the future. I look forward to contributing to the longstanding tradition of excellence Provost is known for.

You will be receiving an email with your child’s class assignment for the 2023-2024 school year. Please let me know if you have not received this email by Friday, August 4th.

Our annual Back to School Night will be Monday, August 14th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.

The first day of school will be Wednesday, August 16th, 2023.

Also, the days of August 16th-22nd will be early dismissal at 1pm as directed by the district except Friday, August 18th where dismissal will be at 1:20pm.

I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and working together to continue creating a thriving academic community. Thank you for you warm welcome!

Warm regards, Ms. Tricia Biggs
