Provost Elementary School

Hey Provost, Mrs. Cannon’s 2nd grade class thought it would be a good idea to learn what it takes to read the street signs and house numbers in our community. The 2nd graders learned what kinds of numbers go on what side of the street, the same number on a house is usually painted on the curb in front of the house and on the mailbox, and the reason why some street numbers get bigger and why they get smaller.

The students even got the chance to build their own streets and houses using papers and coloring tools and all kinds of crafts.

Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself!
