Hey Provost, meet Ashley Scott, one of our new first grade teachers. We want to welcome Ms. Ashley Scott to our Provost family.
Ms. Scott is from Kansas City, Missouri. This is her second year teaching, but first year teaching in Utah! She loves to eat Thai food and some of her favorite activities include: Kayaking, hiking, and baking.
Her favorite book is Stephanie’s Ponytail by Robert Munsch.
When asked why she chose to teach she replied, “I love to teach because I look forward to developing a relationship and seeing students grow academically and socially! I also love fostering a family dynamic in the classroom and getting to work with families and staff as a team!”
Ms. Scott also shared a funny story with us: “When I was in elementary school, I had to give a presentation and right before it was my turn to present both of my legs fell asleep. When I got up to give my presentation I fell to the floor!”
Make sure you stop in to say hi to Ms. Scott. Let’s make her feel loved and welcomed at Provost.
We are lucky to have such amazing teacher like Ms. Scott work here!
