Provost Elementary School

Mrs. Veronica Phillips will be teaching first grade this year at Provost.

Mrs. Phillips grew up in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She loves coffee and reading and has been teaching for about 2 years now.

When asked why she chose to become a teacher she said, “I want to be someone in a child’s life that believes they can do great things and helps put them on track to do those things.”

A funny story about Mrs. Phillips: “I spent a year tracking down the perfect reading chair for a discounted price, and finally found one! When we brought it home, one of my sweet dogs decided that it was also the perfect dog chair! She’s since stolen it from me and continues to use it everyday.”

Her favorite books are: How to Train Your Dragon, Encyclopedia Brown and anything by the author Roald Dahl.

Welcome to Provost Mrs. Phillips!! We are so grateful you are here.
