Hello Provost Families,
Fall is a wonderful time in Provo. We have a beautiful backdrop of fall colors in the mountains each day! My hope is you are all able to be outside and enjoy the outstanding colors of our Utah Fall.
Raptor System
You may have noticed a computer screen in the entry way at Provost. This is the electronic visitor management system Provo City School District has selected to be implemented in all district schools, the V-Soft RAPTOR System (commonly called RAPTOR). The purpose is to provide additional safety for our students and employees. We will begin using the RAPTOR System on Monday, October 9th. When you arrive, starting October 9th, you will be greeted via the intercom system and asked for a valid approved government-issued form of photo identification. Examples include, but are not limited to:
-Driver License from any state or country -Identification Card from any state or country -Passport or Passport Card from any country -Permanent Resident Cards (Green Card) -Consulate Card from any country -Military Identification Card
The office staff will then instruct you to scan your identification and then they will issue you a badge with your information. The badge must be visible and worn at all times while in the building. We look forward to implementing the RAPTOR System but we know there will be a learning curve. We ask for your patience as we work to fully implement this system at Provost Elementary.
