Provost Elementary School

Hey Provost, did you know that our school choir was invited to sing in the Libby Gardner Concert Hall in Salt Lake City? The American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) held a music conference called “Sing for Life” on the University of Utah campus and the association invited our school choir to come and sing in a concert along with several other school choirs.

Our Provost choir students rode together in a school bus up to the Libby Gardner Concert Hall and enjoyed a wonderful pizza party pick-knick out on the grass before the concert.

The Provost choir was the only elementary school choir that was invited to sing in the concert; the other choirs were the Herriman High School choir, the Deep Green choir from Utah Valley University (UVU) and the University of Utah Chamber Choir. At the very end of the concert every choir was invited to the stage to sing a song all together. It was a great experience for our choir students to sing with such wonderful and accomplished high school and college singers.

Congratulations to our wonderful Provost School Choir for singing so well for the concert and representing our school!

And thank you to those former Provost students who chose to come back and sing with the choir for this concert!
