The Parent Will:
- Support their children in their learning by:
- Ensuring their children attend school regularly and on-time
- Encouraging reading at home
- Providing a learning environment at home
- Limiting excessive non-academic screen time
- Supporting the school and staff in maintaining proper discipline
The Teacher Will:
- Provide high-quality, engaging curriculum and instruction in a supportive and effective learning environment that enables children to meet challenging state academic standards by:
- Differentiating instruction to meet student needs
- Teaching the Utah Core Standards
- Conducting frequent assessments of learning
- Setting clear and consistent expectations and procedures for students
The School Will:
- Provide high-quality, engaging curriculum and instruction in a supportive and effective learning environment that enables children to meet challenging state academic standards by:
- Building a school-wide schedule that best supports instruction
- Providing extensions and interventions
- Conducting ongoing professional development
- Using evidence-based curriculum
