Provost Elementary School

Hey Provost, Mrs. Elise Clifford is one of our 3rd grade teachers and we wanted to get to know her a little better, so we asked her some questions about herself and this is what she told us:

“I have been a teacher for 17 years!”

“I love to go on walks, work in my yard, visit my granddaughter, and be with my family!”

“I grew up in Utah and Wyoming.”

“I chose to teach simply because kids are the best! I learn so much from my students everyday!”

“Some of my favorite books are: The Witches, The Wild Robot, The Year of Billy Miller, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, and Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh!”

“When I was younger my brother and I were always getting into trouble! One time we both thought it was a good idea to take our Shetland pony named Curly into our ranch house!  Let’s just say my mom thought it was a terrible idea!”

We are so grateful to have Mrs. Clifford at Provost. She is kind, creative, supportive and always grateful to those around her. We love you Mrs. Clifford! Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with us!
