Provost Elementary School

Provost Parents,

Please remember to drop off and pick up students at the front of the school.  We ask that you do not pick up or drop off students in the teacher faculty parking lot.  All of the teachers and staff work hard to get students out as quickly as possible.  Here are a few tips that can help with that process:

– Always move forward to allow for more cars to pick up

– Be kind and respectful by not cutting into line.  Drive all the way back.

– If you need extra time getting your child in your car, you may want to park at the front of the school and walk over to get your child.

–  Ask your child to be out at the front of the school as soon as possible after the bell rings and to be looking for your car

I know that no one likes to wait in line, but these rules are in place for the safety of the children.  On average, pick-up takes 10 minutes after the last school bell rings.  So please, exercise patience during this time as we have lots of children and cars to keep an eye on!

Thank you,

Mrs. Alvarez
