Hey Provost, we had a special visitor come to our school and visit with our 5th graders. That special visitor was Mayor Kaufusi; she is the mayor of the city of Provo. Our 5th graders are learning about the different forms of government in their classes and Mayor Kaufusi spoke to them about what it’s like to be the mayor of a city and the many many responsibilities that she has. She also told them about what it was like for her growing up in Provo and how important going to school and getting an education was for her and how her education prepared her for her responsibilities as mayor of Provo.
Thank you for visiting with us Mayor Kaufusi and thank you for showing us how important school is for us!
