Provost Elementary School

Hey Provost, the school library is doing a storybook pumpkin patch where kids decorate a pumpkin to look like a character from a book. If you would like to participate in the storybook pumpkin patch, please follow these instructions:

1) Pick a storybook character and decorate a pumpkin to look like that character

2) Please don’t carve the pumpkin (it rots too fast)

3) Use paint, paper, permanent markers, etc. to decorate your pumpkin so that it looks like your book character

4) Take lots of pictures of your creation and bring your decorated pumpkin to the library to earn a treat.

The last day to bring in a storybook pumpkin is Monday, Oct. 24th; the finished pumpkins will be displayed under the stairs next to the main office.

Please take your pumpkin home on Monday, Oct. 31st for Halloween.
