Provost Elementary School

Hey Provost, our 4th grade students received a visit from a real mountain man. Scott “Grizzly” Sorensen comes every year and shows our 4th graders what kinds of things a mountain man would do to live in the mountains, like hunting and fishing and building your own log cabin. He also teaches the history of mountain men, which dates back all the way to the 1700s, and gave each student a chance to touch and feel his animal pelts.

What a great experience for our 4th graders to live in the mountains and interact with a real mountain man!
