Provost Elementary School

Hey Provost, After School Clubs have begun and we are off to an amazing start. Here is what is happening in the clubs so far:

Homework: worked on our weeks assignments, played Jenga, puzzles, vocabulary.

Sewing: got to know our machines and how they work, learned to sew in a straight line, learned how to turn corners without going ziggy zag.

Art: painting! How to create a fade from dark to light or light to dark, making shadows on our canvases.

Chinese: Counting in Chinese, Mid Autumn Festival, Chinese lanterns.

Dance: We learned almost half the hip hop dance that will be performed at the showcase in Dec. Trust me- you’re gonna want to see this group dance!

Mosaics: We learned what mosaics are and practiced creating a mosaic using different kinds of seeds.

Creative Crafts: check out our painted rocks and coloring pages. We may have even accidentally come home with painted fingers.

Thanks to our amazing after school teachers for making our first days of clubs such a success!
