Hey Provost, our students sure had a whole lot of fun celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. They spent the day participating in all kinds of activities; in Mrs. Blackburn’s kindergarten class the students colored some cutout pictures of leprechauns and hung them from the ceiling; in Mrs. Jepsen’s kindergarten class the students ate Lucky Charms while they did their assignments; Mrs. Black’s class wrote stories that included the word “green” as many times as they could and marched around their classroom while reading their stories out loud; Mrs. Ward’s class colored pictures of leprechauns to take home with them; Mrs. Cannon’s class went out side to search for stones that had been colored by leprechauns; Mrs. Rogers class made shamrock lanyards for everyone to wear; in 2nd grade violin class the students found shamrock stickers placed on their rosin inside their violin cases by a leprechaun; in Library the students about the real St. Patrick who lived hundreds of years ago Our students and faculty members love St. Patrick’s Day and show their spirit by wearing green. Have a look at the gallery to see the pictures!
